What does Scania ACS fault code 8 mean?
Signals from end position sensor and angle sensor do not agree.
What causes Scania DTC 8?
Faulty end position sensor or angle sensor. Short circuit or open circuit on one of the sensor circuits.
How does the system react?
The ACS warning indication is displayed. Limp home mode will be activated.
How to fix Scania ACS fault code 8?
- Check end position sensor and angle sensor.
- Check cable harnesses, harness-to-harness and harness-to-component connectors.
