What does Scania DCU fault code 793 mean?
The voltage on the supply pin for the sensor electric power supply output is 1 V under the selected voltage. The default selected voltage is set to 12 V.
What causes Scania DTC 793?
- The vehicle generates too low a voltage. - Internal fault in the door control unit.
How does the system react?
- The door control unit signals the fault via the CAN network to the main body system (MBS). - An error message is activated and a lamp with an exclamation mark lights up in the instrument cluster for the affected door on the bus stop side.
What are the symptoms?
The door control unit cannot open the door leaf as the door control unit is unable to determine the position of the door leaf.
How to fix Scania DCU fault code 793?
- Restart the door control unit by switching it off and on again.
- Renew the door control unit.
