What does Scania DCU fault code 805 mean?

The measured voltage on the input pin, 3-phase input, to the door control unit indicates an open circuit. This occurs when the measured voltage is approx. 8 – 16 V and the supply voltage to the door control unit is 24 V.

What causes Scania DTC 805?

- Fault in cable harness. - Fault in harness-to-harness connector. - Fault in micro switch. - Fault in supply pin to external components.

How does the system react?

- The door control unit signals the fault via the CAN network to the main body system (MBS). - An error message is activated and a lamp with an exclamation mark lights up in the instrument cluster for the affected door on the bus stop side.

What are the symptoms?

A closed door cannot be opened (as when it is locked) and an open door can only be closed by the door control unit. For emergency opening, the door leaf can open by itself or be opened by hand.

How to fix Scania DCU fault code 805?

1. Check the micro switch.
2. Check the cable harness and harness-to-harness connector to the micro switch.
3. The measured supply voltage on the input pin (CN2-15) to the door control unit should be approx.
4. 24 V with door locked.
5. Otherwise the supply voltage should be approx.
6. 0 V (earth).
