What causes Scania DTC 806?

- Fuses for the door control unit have blown. - Fault in cable harness. - Fault in harness-to-harness connector. - Battery fault, or discharged.

How does the system react?

- The door control unit signals the fault via the CAN network to the main body system (MBS). - An error message is activated and a lamp with an exclamation mark lights up in the instrument cluster for the affected door on the bus stop side.

What are the symptoms?

The door has limited functionality or is completely out of order.

How to fix Scania DCU fault code 806?

  1. Check the vehicle's electric power supply and the cable harness and harness-to-harness connector to the door control unit.
  2. Check the door control unit fuses.
  3. Check whether there are any other active fault codes in other systems in the vehicle.
