What does Scania ELC fault code 806 mean?

The voltage on the input from the control box has been too low.

What causes Scania DTC 806?

This fault code is generated if the control box and/or cable harness has been shorted to ground.

How does the system react?

If the fault occurs there will be no standby function and level control using the control box. The yellow warning symbol is on when the fault is active. Note: On vehicles with blackout lighting (BOL) the fault code can be ignored. The fault code is activated on these vehicles since supply and earth to the operation unit are interrupted when the blackout lighting function is used.

Check the cable harness for damage or forbidden connections and make sure the control box is intact.
