What does Scania EMD fault code 280 mean?
The voltage in the circuit has been above the permitted level.
What causes Scania DTC 280?
Short circuit to battery voltage. Power failure.
How does the system react?
The engine power is reduced. On a vehicle with NOx control the fault code must be deactivated first before it can be deleted.
What are the symptoms?
A cold engine may be difficult to start and idling is uneven because the engine cannot engage the cold start position.
