What causes Scania DTC 594?

- BMS is disconnected from the red CAN bus. - Fault in the CAN bus. - Fault in the voltage supply to BMS. - Fault in BMS.

What are the symptoms?

Functions which are dependent on information from BMS stop working partially or completely.

How to fix Scania EST fault code 594?

  1. Check whether there is a fault code in the tag axle steering system which applies to a communication error with the coordinator (COO).
  2. Rectify this fault code first.
  3. Check fault codes from the BMS control unit.
  4. If no fault codes can be read from the BMS control unit:
  5. Check the voltage supply and 15 voltage to the BMS control unit.
  6. Check the BMS control unit connection to the red CAN bus.
