What does Scania EST fault code 593 mean?
The steering angle sensor is not calibrated.
What causes Scania DTC 593?
Either a new steering angle sensor has been fitted or the calibration has been affected in another way.
What are the symptoms?
The lane departure warning and driver support functions may be affected by the steering angle sensor not being calibrated.
How to fix Scania EST fault code 593?
- Calibrate the steering angle sensor.
- If the fault persists, renew the steering angle sensor and calibrate it.
