What does Scania LAS fault code 32 mean?
The voltage on the alarm control unit input is incorrect.
What causes Scania DTC 32?
The fault can be caused by the following: - The motion sensor is not connected - Short circuit to ground. - Open circuit in the communication cable between the alarm control unit and the motion sensor
How does the system react?
The fault code is generated when the alarm is activated via the remote control. Motion sensor not working. When the alarm is activated via the remote control, the fault is indicated as follows: - The LED flashes rapidly for 5 seconds. - There is no confirmation signal from the siren. T78-2 is a serial communication cable which cannot be measured.
How to fix Scania LAS fault code 32?

- Check harness-to-harness connectors and cabling.

- If the voltage on pin T78-1 is 10-13 V: renew the motion sensor.
- 3.
- If the voltage on pin T78-1 is too low: check the cabling and for short circuiting to earth.
