What does Scania MBS fault code 524 mean?
The control unit for the main body system (MBS) has interpreted that the VIN code in the memory does not correspond with the VIN code on the vehicle.
What causes Scania DTC 524?
The VIN code recorded in memory does not match the vehicle VIN code. - Incorrect VIN code programmed in the control unit. - A control unit from another vehicle has been installed.
How does the system react?
- Some features are switched off or restricted. - A yellow warning indication is displayed.
