What does Scania PCS fault code 786 mean?
Messages have not been received within 5 nominal transfer rate periods.
What causes Scania DTC 786?
Internal fault. The CAN communication does not work between the BMU7 and control unit PCS1.
What are the symptoms?
- Control of the combustion engine is lost if the fault persists. - The combustion engine cannot be started or stopped. - The accelerator pedal cannot be used.
How to fix Scania PCS fault code 786?
Check the cable harness and connector between the coordinator and control unit PCS1.
