What does Scania SC fault code 7 mean?
The voltage supply to the tachograph has been too high.
What causes Scania DTC 7?
Short circuit or open circuit in the tachograph power supply. There may also be an internal fault in the tachograph.
How to fix Scania SC fault code 7?
- Check the circuit for short circuits and open circuits.
- If it becomes evident that the fault is internal, the tachograph must be renewed.

Detection
The supply voltage to the tachograph has been too high.
Possible cause
The supply voltage has been higher than the normal operating voltage of the tachograph for more than 4 seconds.
How to fix
- Check the supply voltage value.
- Check the cable harness.
- Check the voltage supply.
