What does Scania CUV fault code 7 mean?
The current consumption on the control unit output has exceeded 8.5 A.
What causes Scania DTC 7?
Short circuit in the relay for current consuming equipment R19 or in the cable harness.
How does the system react?
Right-hand rear direction indicator is inoperative. Every time the function is activated, the current consumption on the control unit output is checked. If the current consumption is too high, the output is switched off and a fault code is registered.
How to fix Scania CUV fault code 7?
- Check the bulbs.
- Also, check the number of connected lamps in circuit.
- Check whether there is a short circuit to earth.
