What does Scania TMS fault code 13 mean?
The application is not running because the control unit has been requested by KWP to stay in boot mode.
What causes Scania DTC 13?
Internal fault.
How does the system react?
Engagement of the freewheeling retarder is stopped if retarder oil pressure is too high so as not to damage the synchroniser. The oil pressure must be checked before engaging the freewheeling retarder. If retarder pressure is too high, there is no engagement.
How to fix Scania TMS fault code 13?
- First clear all fault codes.
- Switch off and restart the vehicle.
- If the fault codes are still displayed, renew the control unit.
