What does Scania APS fault code 1503460 mean?
Short circuit to ground in the compressor relief solenoid valve.

Short circuit in the circuit board.
How does the system react?
When the fault is active, the system operates in alternative relief mode. If a short circuit to earth is detected in the solenoid valve power stage, which normally adjusts the compressor, the control unit adjusts the regeneration valve in order to control the system pressure. Because the compressor cannot be switched off during relief, the entire air flow from the compressor will be removed via the open regeneration valve in vehicles with the advanced version. For vehicles with the high capacity version, only the regenerated air flow will be removed. For both versions, regeneration will continue throughout the time relief mode is active. The control unit output supplying voltage to the solenoid valve is switched off to protect the solenoid valve from overheating when the PWM signal is no longer available. Pressure can still be measured and distributed. The following may be affected: - The compressor cannot be switched off. - No pressure drop during regeneration. - Self-diagnosis of sensors.

- Check the connections for the control unit and solenoid valves.
- Renew the control unit.
- Clear the fault code.
