What does Scania LAS fault code 50 mean?
No PIN code is programmed in the alarm control unit.
What causes Scania DTC 50?
The alarm control unit has been renewed and has not been programmed with PIN code.
How does the system react?
The fault code is set when the alarm control unit is reset after being without a power supply. When the alarm is activated via the remote control, the fault is indicated as follows: - The direction indicators flash rapidly. - The LED flashes rapidly for 5 seconds. - There is no confirmation signal from the siren.
How to fix Scania LAS fault code 50?
Use Scania Programmer to program the alarm control unit.
