Cosa causa il DTC 9 di Scania?

Wrong viscosity oil used. Oil pressure/supply to cam phaser is too low. Bias spring loose from mounting point. Debris in the cam phaser or control valve. Actuator malfunction. Cam torque to high. Cam phaser malfunction. Control valve malfunction. Sump oil temperature sensor malfunction.

Come risolvere il codice di errore Scania EMS 9?

  1. Visually check that the cam phaser bias spring is mounted correctly.
  2. Check that cam phaser system has sufficient oil pressure and flow.
  3. Rotate the engine, check that the resistance isn’t abnormally high.
  4. Check that the sump oil temperature sensor is working as intended.
  5. Check actuator fault codes, check that the actuator moves without problem.
  6. If there is any fault with the actuator replace it.
  7. Check that the control valve spool moves smoothly and don’t stick in any position.
  8. Change oil, remove fault codes, test drive.
  9. If problem persists change cam phaser and control valve.
