What causes Scania DTC 547?

The fault may be due to: - Fault in the coordinator. - The coordinator is not connected to the orange CAN bus.

How does the system react?

A warning is displayed in the instrument cluster.

How to fix Scania CMS fault code 547?

  1. Check the coordinator (COO):
  2. Check the coordinator for related fault codes.
  3. If other control units have fault codes indicating a fault in communication with the coordinator.
  4. Coordinator fuse.
  5. Coordinator cable harness and connections for battery voltage (30 voltage), starter lock voltage (15 voltage) and ground (31).
  6. CAN connections to the coordinator.
  7. Check the chassis management system (CMS) control unit:
  8. Connections and cable harness to the orange CAN bus with the battery disconnected by removing the connection from the control unit and measuring the resistance between pins B29 and B32.
  9. The resistance should be close to 60 ohms due to the two termination resistors on the CAN bus.
