What does Scania ESTA fault code 515 mean?
The system was started with an incorrect configuration.
What causes Scania DTC 515?
- Faulty software. - The control unit has been exposed to electromagnetic radiation.
How does the system react?
When the fault is active, the system restarts, and the system should subsequently function normally again.
How to fix Scania ESTA fault code 515?
- Bear in mind that the fault code may be activated by electromagnetic disturbance from radar apparatus or transformers.
- If the fault code recurs after restarting the vehicle:
- Check that no disruptive equipment is connected to the vehicle electrical system.
- Check whether there are any software updates for the system.
